I don't know if you've watched our latest release Spoken Word with Alyssia Kent and Juan Lucho, but if you haven't you definitely need to put it on your to do list! In this episode of Love is Blind Ley and her lover Julio get it on in the kitchen and record their lovemaking as a sexy treat for Ley's best friend Julie.

Of course Ley and Julio make kitchen lovemaking look quite effortless, however I am sure we have all experienced taking things out of the bedroom and ending up in all sorts of awkward positions. Shower sex anyone?! So I thought I would put together a little guide for kitchen sex this week, as there are lots of ways to use this room to your advantage... What can be sexier than the feeling of wanting a lover so badly that you don't even want to spend time making your way to the bedroom?

Firstly the kitchen counter is your friend... It makes a perfect place to sit as your partner goes down on you, or opens up plenty of standing positions that might normally require too much strength. As a woman you can perch on the edge of the counter as your partner enters you and wrap your legs around them without them having to hold your whole weight. 

You can also try a reverse cowgirl position with him propped up on a chair facing the counter as you use it for support and leverage to get your hips in just the right place.

If you have a nice, strong kitchen table you can get right up on there for a bit of missionary, or even cowgirl - oven mitts can make perfect knee pads... Alternatively the woman can lie on the table as her partner stands to enter her, just like in Spoken Word.

On that subject, don't forget all of the props around the kitchen that you might want to bring into your session. A spatula can be used for impact play, or a wooden spoon as a paddle. Remember that communication and consent are key as always. 

Finally, the kitchen is a great place to find all of your sexy foodstuffs close to hand. Whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce are all great, but also consider what is in the freezer. Ice cubes, ice cream or ice lollies will cool you down and spice up your session.
